Experiences

Discover the many adventure activities offered to you at Montana Mountain. You will find an activity for all seasons of the year, all ages and all fitness levels.

WINTER ACTIVITIES

SKI

The altitude of the park allows us to offer a large selection of slopes, for skiers of all levels. The ski season begins with the first snowfall (often around mid-November) and generally continues until mid-March.

CLIMBING

Snow climbing is a relatively new activity in the park and incredibly popular. We offer a set of climbing sites and a 3 hour training course for new climbers. All climbing equipment can be rented at the main park office.

HÉLISKI

Access our mountains and our most difficult to reach high altitude landscapes with our heli-skiing formula. You will be able to reach the most distant areas of our park and enjoy an individualized and truly exciting ski experience.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

CYCLING

You will find hundreds of kilometers of paved or off the beaten track hiking trails in the park. Be prepared to face more high winds if you go higher altitudes and potential slippery conditions. Be sure to wear protective equipment.

HIKING

Grab your walking sticks, sturdy shoes, and lots of high-energy foods, because once you start hiking the park's hiking trails, you won't want to stop. All our trails are clearly marked according to the level of expertise required.

CAMPING

There are more than 180 campsites in the park, and demand is high, so book in advance. Note that the equipped lots have basic facilities, such as running water and toilets; more remote areas do not have this type of facility.

WILD LIFE

You will see an incredible amount of wild animals roaming the park. Don't hesitate to take photos, but keep a good distance. In addition, respect the flora and fauna, as it is their home.

CANOE TRIPS

Getting around by canoe is one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy the park. Advance on the water quietly, enjoying the scenery. There are two boat shops in the park that rent canoes and equipment.

HORSE RIDING

Horse riding has been an integral part of our national park since it was designated as such in 1900. Horses, mules and llamas are allowed on the park's designated trails and contribute to the park's special atmosphere.
